THE EDWARDS FAMILY INVITES ANANGU & PIRAMPA TO THE BUSH REBURIAL OF THEIR CHILD IN THE BURIAL CAVE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MAKU TJUKURPA

APRIL 5, 2018

PROGRAMME

  1. ON THE MORNING OF APRIL 5 2018 THE POLICE PLANE WILL LAND AT MIMILI AIRFIELD AT A TIME POLICE WILL ADVISE (PROBABLY AROUND 12 NOON)
  2. PROFESSOR ROGER BYARD WILL RETURN THE CHILD TO REX TJAMI ON BEHALF OF THE EDWARDS FAMILY AND TRADITONAL OWNERS
  3. A FUNERAL PROCESSION WILL TAKE THE CHILD TO THE BURIAL CAVE ON THE SANDY BORE SIDE OF THE MAKU TJUKURPA
  4. THE CHILD WILL BE REBURIED BUSH WAY IN THE BURIAL CAVE
  5. THE FUNERAL PROCESSION WILL TRAVEL TO VICTORY WELL FOR MAI & INMA

  7. APY MANAGEMENT & MIMILI ANANGU COMMUNITY COUNCIL FOR ADMINISTRATION
  8. SKILLHIRE & NGNAMPA HEALTH FOR ORGANISING SAFE WATER
  9. RASAC FOR ORGANISING SITE AND RUBBISH SERVICES
  10. EVERYONE ARRANGING FACILITIES TRANSPORT AND EQUIPMENT

A limited amount of money will be available to help Anangu return home after the inma using fuel from the Mimili Maku store.
